That's right. Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning is soon upon us and we need to practice our best greenskin imitation. (Of course, if you really want to get into the role, don't bathe...or think, or do anything right at all...stupid orcs...)



Anywho, we've got something direct from EA Games. They've agreed to give anyone who comes into our humble store a free 7-day trial of WAR. This is, as far as I know, a complete exclusive. You won't be able to get this anywhere else, except your local LAN center.

I had an awesome post that drew analogies between a small behind the lines platoon in Warhammer making a run for their safety and group of friends running to school.



It was funny. It had links to awesome screenshots. A splendid time you would have had if reading it you did. But, YAHOO! ate my post. stupid yahoo.



Suffice it to say, here are the bullet points you need to know for the month.

1) We are starting a Warhammer War Bands. Make your 199 point army and see you at the tables!

2) Warhammer Mark of Chaos: Battle March is the XBOX360 Showcase for the month. For the first time, you can experience the Warhammer experience in an RTS setting. Play for an hour for FREE!

3) MOST EXCELLENT NEWS! Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning will be coming out on Sept 18. Citadel Games is the exclusive place to get your free 7-Day Trial. This is something that they are only willing to bring to your local best LAN Center. Check it out. It's going to look great.

Wow, look! I'm back. Long time...and all that.

It has been very VERY busy in July. I'd tell you what we've been doing, but I'd have to kill you then. Let it just suffice to say that no monkeys were harmed during the experiments and I think our eyebrows will grow back soon.

Oh, and we had a county fair booth or something...



On to August.

We've got some fun events planned and I can not wait for them to happen.

On August 9-10, the Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures LAN party will take place. From 8pm Saturday until the wee small hours of Sunday morning we will have unlimited AoC:HA for those willing to brave the brutality of Cimmeria. We'll even feed you. Here are the details.

Hello, Citadel Gamers!

It's getting hot outside, isn't it? 'Bout time, I say. I would much rather be hot than cold. (Probably shouldn't live in MN, then, should I?) However, it is nice a hot and that only means one thing! It's SUMMER! School's out. There are days of beaches, picnics and family trips to look forward to. Boy! I sure to do love the summertime.



We've got so much planned this summer. For starters, we've changed our happy hours to fit the summer schedule. Instead of the normal 5-8pm, we will offer computer time from noon-3pm for only one dollar and hour! That's a 66% discount and a great time to beat the heat when it's over 100 degrees outside.



Now this one, I'm pretty exctied about. We are hosting our first annual Party in the Parking Lot from 11-4 on the 4th of July. We've got a full day planned. Check out some of the featured events!

And I hear you've already got plans for a party of some sorts; an anniversary celebration!? Back in my day, anniversaries were meant for marryin' and buryin'. You only celebrated when ol' Spalding got married and for how long, and when ol' Spalding died and for how long. It was simple! You even knew what to wear for each anniversary.



Nowawadays, you've got anniversaries for everything. Sweethearts have two month anniversaries of the first time they ever held hands. Car dealerships have anniversaries of their sales. How cute."



*That's right! We're celebrating three happy-go-lucky years here at Citadel Games and we thought it would be a neato time to have a party.
